About

Yvonne is a Taiwanese-Canadian architect, designer, and photographer. She grew up in Taipei, trained in Montréal and Barcelona, and is currently based in the unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, colonially known as Vancouver.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from McGill University and a Master’s in Advanced Architecture from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC). She has worked at architecture firms of various sizes across Taiwan, Canada, and Spain, and is a registered architect with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC). She also volunteers as a career mentor with MOSAIC, an organization that supports new immigrants transitioning into Canada’s design industry.

Always looking for new ways to stay creative, Yvonne finds inspiration in music, film, pottery, and dance—and is constantly exploring different forms of artistic expression.
